As a Family Justice Interviewer for the Province of BC, I work alongside a great team of individuals committed to providing intake and assessment services to families experiencing separation and divorce. We are specially trained to offer information regarding guardianship, parenting responsibilities, contact, parenting time and child/spousal support. In addition, we offer information regarding other in/out court options and provide assistance with provincial court forms. Although we do not offer legal advice, we can provide individuals with options for various resources for those needing a lawyer. Part of my job is to gather valuable information for clients who may/may not proceed with mediation services through a Family Justice Counsellor. I am presented with a variety of situations on a daily basis; I appreciate the challenges and rewards my job brings me every single day.
